Nicholas is an accomplished agribusiness executive and agronomist with over 30 years of experience in agriculture, horticulture, value-chain development and agribusiness leadership. He has held senior leadership roles with leading organisations including IPS Kenya, Monsanto Kenya, Sunripe and Homegrown Kenya among others, working across commercial agriculture, export horticulture, farmer integration and agricultural supply chains. Nicholas has international experience spanning Kenya, Uganda, Brazil, Tanzania and Afghanistan, complemented by professional training in the United Kingdom and Israel. He holds a BSc in Agricultural Education & Extension from Egerton University, alongside international qualifications in sustainable agriculture, agronomy, fertiliser advisory and crop protection. As CEO of Kilimo AgroPro Services Ltd, he leads the company’s mission to develop sustainable, commercially viable and market-driven agricultural solutions for farmers and agribusinesses.

Samuel is an experienced agronomist based in Nairobi with over eight years in the agricultural and agribusiness sectors across East Africa. He holds a BSc in Animal Health, Production and Processing from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, and has completed international agricultural training in Israel. His work spans sustainable crop production, soil fertility management, Good Agricultural Practices, GLOBALG.A.P. implementation and capacity building, through progressive roles including Agronomist, Avocado Production Expert, Fruit Procurement Coordinator, Production Manager and Regional Sales Agronomist.

Grace is a results-driven marketing and administration professional with over five years of hands-on experience in sales across the region, in both Kenya and Uganda. She combines strong organisational and administrative expertise with versatile social-media marketing skills to drive brand visibility, customer engagement and business growth. Able to manage multiple priorities seamlessly, she has successfully supported sales operations, coordinated administrative functions and executed digital marketing campaigns that strengthen the firm’s market presence in the region.

Fred designs and runs the firm’s training work — farmer field schools, staff capacity building and Good Agricultural Practice programmes covering both crops and livestock. Drawing on his international experience gained in Israel and local experience across the corporate sector and development partners, he translates technical recommendations into practical sessions that farm teams can be taught and assessed on, so that improved practices continue long after the adviser has left the farm.

Joshua is a veterinary para-professional with more than ten years in dairy and livestock production, gained at Githeha Farm in Ruiru, Nyaribo Farm in Nyeri, Thamuru Farm at the Riara Group of Schools, and Premier Food Limited, where his work included beekeeping. He works with growers running bees and livestock alongside a cropping enterprise — hive siting and colony management, herd health and husbandry, and the feed and housing decisions that sit behind both. He sets out what an enterprise needs season by season, so stock and hives are run to a standard rather than simply kept.

Tevin Kihonge is an experienced Operations and Finance Manager with over five years of experience spanning financial management, agricultural operations, supply chain coordination, procurement, market intelligence and business process optimisation. He holds an MSc in International Business Management from the University of East London and a BSc in Financial Economics from Maasai Mara University. He brings regional experience across Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia, giving him a strong understanding of East and Southern African agricultural markets, cross-border business environments and value-chain operations. His combination of financial expertise and hands-on agricultural operations enables him to bridge finance, field operations, markets and strategy to deliver practical and sustainable business solutions.

Benard is an Irrigation and Water Resources Engineer with over 17 years’ experience in the design, supervision and management of irrigation and water projects across East Africa. He holds an MSc and a First Class Honours BSc in Environmental & Biosystems Engineering from the University of Nairobi, completed specialised training in Agricultural Engineering Technologies in Israel, and is currently pursuing an MSc in Project Management at JKUAT. He previously served as Technical Manager at Irrico International Ltd and Irrigation Engineer at Twiga Foods, and currently works as Irrigation Engineer at Frigoken Limited, focusing on large-scale farm systems, feasibility studies and water management for export horticulture.

Mwangi develops and manages relationships with the Kenyan diaspora in the U.S.A, serving as a liaison between clients and Kilimo AgroPro’s technical team across farm management, agronomy and other agricultural and agribusiness services. For an owner running a Kenyan farm from abroad, he is the point of contact who keeps the operation reportable across the time difference.

Esther develops and manages relationships with the Kenyan diaspora in Germany and Europe, serving as a liaison between clients and Kilimo AgroPro’s technical team across farm management, agronomy and other agricultural and agribusiness services. Handles the practical side of instructing work on a farm the owner cannot visit.

Solomon is an agronomist, farm manager and technical manager with more than twenty years in local and export-oriented production. He studied general agriculture and agricultural engineering, and holds BASIS and FACTS certification. He works across outgrower schemes and farmer capacity building, crop production, post-harvest handling, quality management and agricultural supply chains, through to the processing and export of dry crops, oil crops, fruits and vegetables — alongside livestock, pastures and ranch management. He works with farmers, commercial farms and processors on productivity, quality and market access. His other ground is the physical side of a farm: machinery and equipment selection, mechanised operations, irrigation and water systems, storage and processing facilities, and the infrastructure a working operation depends on.
